Registration!

2008 MJELL Registration will be held at the East Gate Mall next to Quiznos.

Registration dates and times:
• Tuesday, February 12 5:30-8:30
• Wednesday, February 13 5:30-8:30
• Saturday February 16 10:00am - 3:00pm

There will be a late fee of $10 for any registration received after the March 1 deadline. For late registration contact Rod Austin 531-3636.

Player evaluations will be held for the following leagues:

• Majors - Mt Jumbo Field, March 12, 13
• Juniors - Kelly Pines Field, March 14

Majors, Juniors and Seniors are the only leagues that will hold evaluations. Teams will be redrafted each year. Please arrive 30 minutes early to sign in and warm up.

Fees

The registration fee for T-ball up through Major league is as follows: $35 for one player, $50 for two players, $65 for three players. The fee schedule is for Big League, Senior League, and Junior League, is $45 for one player, $70 for two players, $95 for three players. A $10 late registration fee is assessed to those who do not sign up by March 1.

Fund Raiser

Mount Jumbo East Little League currently conducts one primary fund raising activity. All players are required to sell tickets for a league raffle. There will not be an option to opt out! The income from this fundraiser allows our league to operate on a sound financial basis. The fundraiser profits help to keep the cost of the program affordable. Player fees account for less than half of the cost of running the league. The initial $70 to purchase two booklets of raffle tickets must be paid at registration. Families with more than one player will be required to purchase one booklet for each additional player. All checks will be held and cashed by the league on April 1st.

Mt Jumbo East Little League offers leagues for players of all different ages.

The following Leagues are offered in Mt Jumbo East Little League:

• T-Ball
  Offered to 5 and 6 year olds, batter hits from the tee. Standings/Scores are not kept for this league.
• Farm
  Coach Pitch offered to 7 and 8 year olds getting ready to enter the minors. Coach pitches up to six pitches to the batter Standings/Scores are not kept for this league.
• Minors
  The minor division is offered to 9 and 10 year olds, and introduces full kid pitch, base stealing, and bunting. This is a developmental league where we stress players having equal opportunitiy on the field. Standings and Scores are kept.
• Majors
  The major division is offered to 11 and 12 year olds, full kid pitch, base stealing, and bunting. Standings and Scores are kept.
• Juniors
  The junior division is offered to 13 and 14 year olds, full kid pitch, base stealing, and bunting. Standings and Scores are kept.
• Seniors
  The senior division is offered to 15 and 16 year olds, full kid pitch, base stealing, and bunting. Standings and Scores are kept.
• Big League
  The big league division is offered to 17 and 18 year olds, full kid pitch, base stealing, and bunting. Standings and Scores are kept.
